Food Allergy

What Are Food Allergies? Food intolerances and food allergies are increasingly important problems throughout the world. Though both terms are often lumped in together, they are, in fact, very different reactions on the part of the body. A food allergy is a medical condition wherein the immune system mistakenly treats something in a particular food as an allergen by mounting an antibody response to specific foods.
