The history of chocolate dates back to 600 b.c. Mesoamerica, where cacao cultivation, consumption, and cultural use were extensive. Nowadays, we enjoy chocolate in the form of chocolate bars for a tasty indulgence. Indeed, chocolate has long been valued, so much so that it was once used as currency. Flash forward to 1847 with the introduction of the first chocolate bar by British chocolatier J.S. Fry and Sons.
