The dissertation will be assessed in three phases. Phase One, the Dissertation Proposal, submitted at the end of the Research Methodology module. The Dissertation Proposal has to be submitted before your proposal final submission date. Any non-submission will not be allocated supervisor. Then the student can proceed to the next phase of the dissertation stage. Phase Two, make an oral interim presentation (see appendix VII for marking criteria). Oral presentation should be completed before starting any primary research. After discussing with the student, the date and second marker in the relevant research areas will be nominated by the supervisor to the Masters Dissertation Co-ordinator and your supervisor will be your first marker in the presentation.
