Candidates who are not already graduates of the University of Wales are required, at the commencement of their scheme of research, to matriculate in the University. You should have received confirmation that you have matriculated. If you have not matriculated, or are uncertain of the situation, you are advised to seek advice from the School Registrar. (Staff Candidates who are not graduates of University of Wales are also required to matriculate.)

Unfortunately, failure to matriculate is one of the commonest causes for delays in the examination of dissertations.
