To become an MOT Tester for Classes 4 and 7, you must hold an accepted Level 3 qualification or accreditation (please refer to VTAA for more information). MOT Training Experts offer a focused four-day Level 2 Award in MOT Testing course for Classes 4 and 7. After successfully completing this course, you’ll be eligible to take the VT8 practical assessment (Demonstration Test) and, once passed, you’ll be officially signed off as a qualified MOT Tester.
