For every block we find, there's a reward. Different currencies have different rewards. For example, the oldest and most expensive cryptographic coin, Bitcoin (BTC), is halved every four years. Since 2016, the premium has been 12.5 BTC (approx. 32,000 $), by 2020 it will drop to 6.25 BTC.
