Dropped hdd not working
External forces have a significant impact on hard disks. The drives I receive have been dropped from more than a few feet in height. When it comes to external hard drives, this is especially true.
External hard drives, often known as portable hard drives, contain moving mechanical elements. An external hard disk can fail if dropped, struck, or bumped. The read/write heads can be damaged by a jolt or a drop, which can cause the liquid bearing to seize. Dropping hard drives from a height of more than 2 feet onto a hard surface can harm the bearings and heads, causing the platters to shift off centre and causing data loss.
