Microsoft alerted the public this week about a vulnerability that allowed threat actors to steal your password by sending you an email and exploiting NTLM.

Microsoft has released an update, however you must check that your current version of Outlook has been updated and take advantage of the patch.

In order to update the version of Outlook that you are using follow these easy steps below:

1. Open Outlook and click on the "File" tab in the top left corner.
2. Click on "Office Account" and then click on "Update Options."
3. Click on "Update Now" to check for and install the latest updates.
