ConnectEBT is an online portal that gives you direct access to your EBT card account. Twenty-five (25) states use the ConnectEBT system to administer benefit programs, including Food Stamps (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Cash and Women’s Assistance, Infants and Children (WIC).A Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) participant can pay for groceries with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits by using Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT). When a participant purchases at an authorized SNAP retail store, their SNAP EBT account will be charged to reimburse the store for the groceries purchased. EBT is used in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam. As of June 2004, EBT has been the only method of issuing SNAP benefits across all 50 states.
