Irregular verbs in English There are some infinite verb forms in English, that do not follow the rules of adding ‘-ed’ in the past and past participle forms. These infinitive verbs are known as irregular verbs in English. In German and Spanish also, these kinds of verbs are noticeable which do not follow with this simple rule.
