The most expensive private residence lies just outside Malabar Hill: Antilla, the 27-storey, billion-dollar tower in Mumbai, owned by India’s richest and the world’s ninth richest person Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries.

Breach Candy, an upmarket neighborhood on the north side of Malabar Hill, has numerous high end boutiques and shopping centers and one of Mumbai’s best bookshops in Crossword at Kemps Corner.
