Theories of internationalization
There are three separate but interconnected theoretical approaches to
internationalization:
(1) the Uppsala/process model;
(2) the eclectic/economic paradigm; and
(3) the network perspective.
The key components of these views are summarized in Table I.
The eclectic/economic and Uppsala/process models focus on the characteristics of a focal firm and its market-environment fit to explain the form and process of internationalization.
The network perspective complements these models by focusing on the role and influence of other economic and non-economics actors and the way the direct and indirect social and business relations between a focal firm and these other actors shape its pattern and speed of internationalization. https://www.successfulessay.com/order/
